Sunday, I spent all day self-teaching myself how to use PermissionsBukkit. In the end it turns out my problem wasn't anything more than "I'm not supposed to use the TAB key in YML files." Hours and hours wasted following tutorials and testing things all because of the dang TAB key.
In the end, I learned how to use the permissions, and I'm OK...
Monday, I have a Minecraft construct finished, with the permissions related to it readied and all. I need to replace something that already exists with it. To do this, I need to change an existing WorldGuard region, and then create a new one in the area. I don't know the slightest thing about WorldGuard, and after 30 minutes of searching tutorials and how-tos, I totally give up. I don't want another repeat of yesterday, where I spend all day long just to learn something.
So I look to FL Studio. I know there are dozens of easy tutorials to follow relative to it, and I can always learn something quickly. So today I pursue soundfonts. How to use them, how to find and install them. You know. And in the end, my soundfont player is a demo and I can't save anything. -_-
No big deal, I'll find a VSTI plugin that does the same thing for free.
Not.
Every VSTI that I find and add is just not appearing in FL.
So I retrace myself and follow some tutorials; all they do is prove that I'm not doing anything wrong.
So I can't Worldguard. I can't Soundfont. I can't VSTI.
I give up. I'll go trace some MLP screenshot or something. At least I know how to use Inkscape.
